NSXPO History
ABOUT NSXPO
The first NSXPO was organized in Colorado in 1997 by NSX owner and enthusiast Ken Sax. The event made a small profit, and that was used as the seed money to start the NSX Club of America the following year under the direction of David Hwang, the first club president.
All subsequent NSXPO’s starting with NSXPO 1998 in Ohio have been held as an official event of, and under the guidance of the NSX Club of America. Each year, the club solicits bids from volunteers to organize and host the event. When the club approves a bid, the group that prepared it becomes the planning committee which makes all the arrangements and does the work to hold the event.
One of the memorable stories from the original NSXPO, was that of the “Sterling 11” who ‘appeared’ unexpectedly in the local press.
