Some would actually say I�m a bit over-the-top, however, I have been a Honda enthusiast since I was about 12 years old (no joke). The snap ring and window regulator issues were of great importance and without your website, I may never have learned about them. Luckily my car is not in “snap ring range” and the window regulators have been repaired. I went to the extent of printing your New Car Checklist and paying my mechanic to check every item on the list prior to purchase. This ended up saving me some money because what the mechanic found gave me some negotiating leverage. In the June 2001 Issue of Road & Track they have an article on the early years of the NSX and they mention nsxprime.com in there. I wish the article would’ve come out about 4 months ago. Jan 22, 2001 – Leon Harris: YOU FIXED IT!!!! I just wanted to send a letter showing my appreciation for such a well of knowledge and information on NSXPrime web site. I had recently purchased a 1992 White NSX and started to have some mods done to it. I had the wheels changed out and was excited that my project was started, but ran into a little snag. I could not start me car after I returned home from discount tires. It seem to be a ignition switch failure, but was not sure until I looked at your technical and do-it-your self pages. I was able to contact my dealer who said it would cost me about $180.00 for the part minus the labor. I started reading some of the suggestions that were out on your site, and presto you fixed my problem. I traced the battery cable as well as the ignition switch and found some loose connections. I had my new baby started in just 30 minutes of poking around. Thanks again, and I will continue to read more from such a great source of information.

The car itself is a rare work of art that could only have been created by Honda/Acura, in my opinion the greatest car manufacturer in the world. I have been studying Honda for many years now and have come to greatly appreciate the outstanding, unmatchable reliability, styling and most of all refinement of these automobiles as my dad has owned a 1977 Prelude, a 1991 Civic DX and presently owns a 1998 Odyssey, none of which had any problems. You won’t find a domestic car company’s engine that will outlast a Honda’s especially equipped with VTEC (variable valve timing and lift electronic control). These high-revving engines are to be marveled. Someday I may own an NSX or maybe and S2000 but until then I’ll keep dreaming as long as people like you guys appreciate Honda/Acura and the NSX. Good job on the site and keep it up!

Aug 23, 2000 – Dick Fogg: I just purchased a 1998 NSX-T and I’d like to thank you for a wonderfully informative site. I had accessed it in the past, when an NSX was merely a “finalist”. When I finally decided to get one I revisited the site and viewed it with renewed appreciation. Thanks to you I wasn’t concerned when my first cold start resulted in a “un-Honda-like” idle. I shut the trunk by pressing on the lid, not the spoiler. I have a good understanding of what to expect from my tires, and what my replacement options are, etc etc etc. I guess the best compliment I can pay you is that this site is worthy of the NSX. I found this site just before buying it. I have to say, the information I have found in it is the most comprehensive that I have seen. In particular, the entire section on detailing is absolutely outstanding. Keep up the good work. I hope that in the near future, I will be able to provide some useful input with things that I have learned.
