2002 Redesign

Based on a toned down version of the new NSX-R listed above, the NSX received the first real cosmetic redesign since its introduction over a decade ago. The new design carries the new nose, fixed-position headlights, tail, exhaust and wheels from the new -R but loses the boy-racer carbon fiber hood and wing in favor of the traditional look for both those parts. This redesign applies to all production models of the NSX. The coupe version was no longer offered as a special order configuration from 2002-2005 in the US market.
